I'm Sprung for Spring

While walking to school this morning, prepared for the harsh wind with my scarf covering half my face, and gloves tucked strategically into my coat - I realized I didn't feel the routine kiss of cold death as I do each and every morning.

The sun was out, the snow was melted from the sidewalk, the wind was subtle - if not existing at all, and people were smiling for the first time, instead of ducking their heads in an attempt to doge the wind. . it was BEAUTIFUL!

It conjured up a vision in my mind of what was coming, and what to anticipate - and like the whimisical photos below (taken by the talented Toronto based photographer - Kendra Rae), thoughts of Spring are dancing all in my head.

Jeff Regis Is Building a Nine-Story Snowboard Jump in Downtown Manhattan - that's fucking dope!

"On February 15, Red Bull will introduce Snowscrapers, a snowboarding competition and nine-story ski jump to Manhattan’s Lower East Side. The massive undertaking requires a month’s worth of construction and snow blowing, and once the $100,000 in prize money is handed out, the jump will be reconfigured into a ski hill for city kids to use for the duration of the winter."

The photo of the hill's skeleton was taken only a few days ago, and it will transform into a heavenly white slope within only a few weeks.

RE: Girl's Against Porn

I came across this organization when looking for porn . . JOKING, but I am pro porn!

Once you get past the hilarious image of their bible version of The Charlies Angel's, the content on the side nav bar reads, "The Male Perspective, The Professional Perspective, Notes for Women, What Happens to Men, Options Before Divorce, ext . . "

They even went as far as having an "Honor & Decency Act" for the US Military bases in hopes to have enough signatures on a petition to ban porn from the Military. . . Seriously? Aren't these guys sacrificing enough for your Country?

I also saw this random quote posted, with really no relation to what they were discussing

Umm, okayy?

This organization's number one reason for it being anti-porn, seems to be due to it "causing divorces"(porn obsessed husbands is what they claim), and on a serious note - child pornography.

Hands down, child pornography is wrong - and anyone viewing that shit is twisted, we meet eye to eye there, yet their main thing is husband's that they claim to be "porn addicts". . I feel like I've seen some Oprah, or Dr.Phil commercials for this exact topic, and I'm not sure what they had to say - but I say, LADIES STEP UP.

Porn, with adult porn stars, who choose to be filmed while having sex - can teach us a lot. This is their occupation, and just like a Chef can teach us a thing or two about filleting a fish - a porn star could teach us a thing or two that we can use behind closed doors.
