This song speaks

On too many levels

One of my favorites of Kanye's, and note it's called Apologize - not Improvise.

"I guess there’s more good women than men percentage wise
So her chance of having a husband just minimize
I guess that’s why she says she ain’t into guys
And focus on school full-time to improvise

We ball 'til we fall
Hit the mall
After we
Hit don't call
We fill your lives
With nothing but lies
And I would like to
Apologize

No no, you can't stand right here
And tell me everything is gonna be alright
'Cause until that real man stands up
I'm going to have to improvise"

This song still get's me excited

No, No, No - Destiny's Child

Whatever, this song is hot!

& I also play Writing's on the Wall, every now and than
You know, when I'm in my man hater mode (which seems to be very often these days!)
Ha!

New Beyonce

Halo | Diva

Halo

I'm really glad Beyonce and her team chose this song to be the 3rd single. The way Beyonce uses her voice, is very different than what we are use to hearing from her - it's very controlled, and haunting.

This was one of my favorites, along with 'Smash Into You', 'Hello', 'Ego', and 'Scared of Lonely'

Diva

Not much to say about this video - hot, hot, hot & a sharp contrast to Halo, which plays on the Two Disc - alter Ego theme.

New K'Naan

Looking forward for the new album to drop early 09' . .

Heavy: The Story of Metal

VH1: Rock-u-mentary

"Metal is for your balls!"

This is a really dope two part documentary by VH1, it aired back in 06, yet I just watched this past weekend, and it gave me a new respect for the genre.

Definitely worth watching!

The New Royales

BITE THE BULLET

This is so exciting, one of my favorite photographers Steve Carty and his crew (Javier Lovera, and Jalani Morgan), produced their first music video.

This band is Toronto based, and I can't wait to hear more - as this song is fire. It played during our last shoot, and the entire crew had it stuck in their head ALL day

CONGRATULATIONS 405 FAM!!!!!!

Kanye West Interview (Full Length)

DJ Semtex TV

One of the best interviews I've seen thus far in regards to the new album, a very laid back Ye' touches on all things current - makes some interesting statements, and offers insight on everything from porn to fashion, and back to music.

WATCH IT - SERIOUSLY
& Subscribe to Semtex's channel on youtube - all his interviews are on point, yet super laid back.

"It's definitely a thank you - and you're welcome, situation"

Ego - Beyonce

I Am Sasha fierce

One my favorites off of Beyonce's new album, mainly due to the witty lyrics

''Its too big

Its too wide
Its too strong
It wont fit
Its too much
Its too tough
He talks like this
Cuz he can back it up
He got a big ego
Such a huge ego
I love his big ego"

So 75% of my posts seem to be about Beyonce - lol
I just can't escape my adoration for this fierce diva, I think she is just so fabulous!

Therefore it really made my day when my two favorite people were together (Tyra & B)
I'm a tad late - but I've been blog slacking . .

Part 1 of 4, watch the rest if you desire.
Tyra is such a dork with her questions - but that's why I love her!
